Bear McCreary

Everyone knows I love the music for Battlestar Galactica, I have the the albums from the mini-series and seasons 1&2, I have made every one listen to it. (even if they didn't want to.)
Well I met Bear McCreary the composer, I had this picture taken of the meeting, he's the lil' fella in the left, I'm the huge, goofy lookin' FAT GUY on the right.

Pitching Genesis-Next to Paul Levitz

After the Stan Lee thing The mob followed Stan and Paul Levitz the President of DC comics was pretty much left standing by himself. I approached him an asked him if DC interested in new web comic properties. He said they are launching zudacomics.com where you can submit a comic, if the editors like it they will post it for a week, if it is the viewer's favorite for that week Zuda will give you a year contract.

He walked me down to the DC booth and introduced me to the Zuda guys, I made a short video of us on the escalator. (VIEW VIDEO)

Meeting My Maker (almost)

I was mere feet from Stan Lee as I sat on the front during a session on a documentary being made on "The Man". Unfortunately they whisked him away before he could sign my 20 year old copy of "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way"

ComicCon UT3 Tournament

I played a beta version of UT3 (on the PC) in a tournament. ComiCon is the first time anyone outside of Epic has played the game. I'm sure you're wondering how I did... I finished 4th out of 12 in my round. (they didn't have low-grav on and I didn't have time to set-up the Translocater.)

Meeting Hellboy's Father

I met Mike Mignola and had he signed a limited edition ComiCon07/Hellboy Print.
I've bee an fan of his since he worked in Rocket Raccoon. (what you've never heard of Rocket Raccoon?)

ComicCon Day 1

Tonight was preview night. The trade show floor has to be 4 football fields. it was wall to wall with nerds. There are TV networks with booths, movie studios with booths, toy manufacturers, t-shirt vendors, and video game companies. Oh yeah, there were a few comic book artist and publishers too.
